Common Good Bookkeeping
Who Are We?
Common Good Bookkeeping Cooperative (CGBC) is a worker-owned cooperative based in Madison, Wisconsin, serving clients across the U.S. Our competently invested team consists of licensed CPAs and highly trained accounting and bookkeeping professionals.
Our financial services include accounting, taxes, bookkeeping, payroll, financial consulting, and outsourced CFO capacities.
Kinds of clients we work with:
- Nonprofits
- Cooperatives
- Individuals
What makes us different:
We’re able to charge our clients equitable hourly rates below the current market, while also paying our members a solidarity rate*
What does “solidarity rate” mean?
To us this means, livable wages and benefits in which every hour of effort in a given month is worth the same.
For each hour worked, all workers are paid the same, regardless of how much we charge the client. This goes for all our members, regardless of credentials, degrees, or seniority.

Sabri Nuñez-Diaz
Sabri (she/her) is a skilled financial professional dedicated to social impact from having managed organizations’ financial health, implemented fiscal systems, and led initiatives promoting community ownership, education, and resource sharing. As a worker-owner at CGBC, she not only wears the hat of accountant and business developer but also trainee. Aside from her technical world, she is a dreamer, and whose sarcasm can either make things awkward or break an entire iceberg.
Annie Kraus
Annie (she/her) is a project management specialist with experience in nonprofit operations, development and monitoring & evaluation. As a bookkeeper, Annie uses her background in analytical research, strategic planning, and systems implementation to help clients organize and understand their books in order to make informed, impactful decisions to achieve their goals. Annie usually has dirt under her nails (from gardening) and pet hair on her clothes (from her beloved dog and cat) but hopes you won’t judge.
